Sin duda leer este breve libreto en forma teatral me remonta a la magnífica película de dicho título y la rivalidad entre Mozart y Salieri.
Antonio Salieri es un músico destacado de la corte del Emperador José II de Austria. Entregado desde niño a la música, prometió a Dios humildad y castidad a cambio de dotes musicales que le hicieran pasar a la historia.
En 1781, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart llega a la corte de Viena y sorprende a todos con su genialidad como músico, pero también con sus excentricidades.
