Cara Quemada — Alan Warner / Morvern Callan by Alan Warner

Esta novela de este escritor escocés me gusta en cuanto nos separa de la Escocia idílica y romántica trasladándonos a una visión más real y dura que luego siguieron con «transpotting» gente como Irvine Welsh.
El arranque de la novela es demoledor, una Navidad y nuestra protagonista con su padre muerto nos describe los regalos de Navidad y sus quehaceres domésticos, Morvern Callan, es una joven que trabaja de reponedora sin futuro, entre las verduras y nos adentra en las drogas, rodeada de Silk Cut, mucho humo y mucha música como banda sonora , nos cuenta las pericias con su amiga Lanna y el dinero heredado de su padre.
Sin duda más allá de su viaje al hotel Rocinante se da cuenta que debe salir del agujero donde esta en buscando de sol el cual la de alguna esperanza entre tanta depresión y sin duda eso es lo que se debe destacar, con sorpresa incluida de algún retoño por locura incluida en una habitación.
Una novela que juega con el lector con dosis de ser Fresca por la juventud pero con regusto demasiado ácido. Sin duda este autor abrió la senda a una generación.

Undoubtedly beyond his trip to the hotel Rocinante realizes that he must leave the hole where he is in search of sun which is of some hope among so much depression and without a doubt that is what should be highlighted, with the surprise included of some offspring for madness included in a room.
A novel that plays with the reader with doses of being cool for youth but with too acid aftertaste. No doubt this author opened the path to a generation.
