Lo mejor que puede decirse de este cómic, premio Pulitzer en 1992 es que hace un tratamiento del holocausto soberbio a través de Artie un dibujante de cómic que quiere que le cuente todo lo sufrido su padre a partir de cupones de racionamiento, campos de concentración, Polonia, Hungría nos adentra en los horrores del ser humano.
Maus es un libro-comic que todo el mundo debería tener en la librería para poder leer de vez en cuando y transmitir sus valores a las siguientes generaciones.
Es de un ingenio, como pocas veces he visto y aún siendo un «comic», demuestra un realismo que pone los pelos de punta sobre el que bajo mi punto de vista es el episodio más repulsivo del ser humano.
Aconsejo su compra totalmente, pero aconsejo mucho más leerlo con toda la calma posible, permitiéndose a uno mismo formar parte de la familia y de todo lo que tuvo que vivir.
