Esta es una destacada novela del género thriller sobre la vida de Noah, el hijo de Janie, que es un chico especial, distinto a los demás, que ve cosas que nadie imagina sobre todo cuando la directora del colegio llama a Janie cuando habla sobre armas… A esto se junta el doctor Anderson que recordando casos como los de Tailandia va poniendo puntos sobre las íes en el caso más allá de ir a Virginia, quizás esa sea la madre de Noah.
El comienzo del libro con Janie en Trinidad conociendo a una persona de Houston cuando comía cabra al curry no hacía presagiar esta trama. ¿Quién es realmente Noah, un médium que conoce sobre los vecinos como Tommy Crawford?, por contra Denise, la madre de Tommy se encuentra desolada y según se resuelve la trama adquiere importancia. Se llevará a cabo la realización del libro por Anderson… Interesante lectura para el verano y recuerda el slogan del libro YOLO «You only live one» (solo se vive una vez).
Por cierto es curiosa la traducción del libro «the forgetting time» por nuestra «el otro hijo».
