El escritor polaco es conocido sobre todo por la ciencia ficción, pero esta es una muy interesante novela sobre un hospital en el bosque que trata enfermos mentales y donde va nuestro protagonista Stefan, es una novela dura, algunos dirán que se hace lenta en fases de descripciones, pero sigue las directrices de los maestros del XIX, este hospital acabará siendo un hospital de las SS y cuenta el exterminio de los paciente mediante cianuro de bromuro y mientras está en funcionamiento cuenta la escasez de medicamentos, aunque sea irregular a mi me ha parecido una grata novela, muy dura y un acierto de este polaco maestro de la ciencia ficción.
